Showerthought: How my morning coffee routine changed in 6 months without me noticing
I used to just grab a gas station cup on the way to work, black coffee, no sugar, done in 2 minutes. But after my wife bought me a cheap pour-over setup last January, something shifted. Now I spend like 15 minutes every morning grinding beans, boiling water to the right temp, and watching it drip. I didn't plan this, it just kind of happened slowly. The funny thing is I actually look forward to that quiet time now, even though I'm waking up earlier. Has anyone else had a tiny daily habit completely morph on them like that over a few months?
