Question about marketing at the Edmonton Folk Music Festival

Totally get what dakota415 is saying about real life connections. I had a client find me because my truck was parked outside a coffee shop they liked. They saw my logo every morning for a month and finally called when their drain clogged. That's trust you can't buy with an ad. The guy with the pen at the festival was already halfway to making a friend, which is way better than just being another link in the search results.

My old way of finding a coolant leak was a total mess

My sister-in-law told me my pie crust was 'tough as leather' at Thanksgiving dinner.

Grating frozen butter is a solid move, but you still need to keep everything cold. Overworking the dough with warm hands can make it tough again. The goal is to barely mix it until it just comes together.

Just realized I was wrong about my grandpa's old fishing story

Found my dad's old story about fixing a car with a paperclip and gum was true when I saw the repair bill in his files. We give old people way too much crap for their "tall tales". Guess they were just bored before the internet.

My coffee gear spreadsheet hit 100 entries yesterday

Every bag, roast date, and brew method" for two whole years? That's a level of record keeping I usually save for my taxes. I get noting down a great bag, but this sounds like you're running a lab, not making a morning drink. What's next, a spreadsheet for your cereal milk ratios?
