Pro tip: I thought tap-to-pay at gas stations was a scam until my card got skimmed in Tampa

Pretty rare" is what they want you to think, paige331. I see local news stories about them getting pulled from gas pumps and ATMs all the time. It's not some tiny chance, you just never know which pump is messed with. Makes you want to just pay inside every single time.

PSA: That 'miracle' at-home chemical peel advice from a client's cousin was a disaster

Remember reading about a guy who used a hardware store chemical to strip paint off his deck and thought it would work on his face. People get DANGEROUS ideas when they mix DIY culture with skin care.

Just got back from the Eagle Rock Loop in Arkansas and the trail markers were a complete mess.

Reminds me how bad signs in stores make people waste time looking for stuff too.

A homeowner in Denver told me my wall fish looked like a toddler drew it

Honestly, my guy thinks I'm out here doing a full laser light show for each box. Tbh I just pop it on a tripod in the hallway and shoot a line down the whole wall. My arm would fall off if I set it up fresh every time, that's just crazy.

Finally got the hang of keeping my mortar joints a clean 3/8 inch

Honestly, that sounds like a great way to burn time for no real payoff. I've been laying brick for twenty years and my joints are never exactly the same. A little variation gives a wall character, shows it was done by hand. As long as the structure is sound, who cares if a joint is a fat quarter inch instead of three eighths? Clients never notice, and chasing perfect lines just slows the whole job down.
