inI once wanted to be a professional whistler
That's actually the theme from 'For a Few Dollars More'. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly has a different, longer tune with that famous "wah-wah-wah" part. I only know this because I made the same mistake trying to learn it. It's a common mix-up. The second movie's theme is way more whistle-friendly. Maybe your neighbor would have had a better reaction to the right song.

inJust realized my grandpa's quiet comment in his workshop 25 years ago shaped my whole view on fixing things.
My old boss told me "frustration is just information trying to get in." It changed everything. Now when something annoys me, I try to see it as a signal that I'm missing a piece of the puzzle. It forces me to look for what I don't know instead of just getting mad.

inRant: My fiddle leaf fig kept dropping leaves until I moved it three feet to the left
Lmao right? It's like they used up all their toughness in the wild and now they're just divas. My fiddle leaf fig once dropped a leaf because I looked at it wrong, I swear. @milarodriguez is totally correct about the light thing, but honestly even in a perfect spot they're still so sensitive. Makes you wonder if the jungle ones are just built different.

inTried a free brush pack versus the $15 Procreate set, and wow.
Totally get that! I read an article about how free brush sets often have weird pressure settings that mess up your workflow. It makes sense that paying for a tested set saves so much frustration. You really do get what you pay for with digital tools.

inMy boss in Phoenix told me my reports were 'just data, no story'
Totally redo how they present basic info" seems like a lot. It's just a report. Adding a sentence before a chart is a small fix, not a total redo. Some bosses just like to hear themselves talk. My old boss in Phoenix would say stuff like that to feel important. As long as the numbers are right, the story is usually pretty obvious.
