Keep grinding like @oliverhernandez said, it only gets better from here.

inSaw a woman in a coffee shop in Portland wearing a dress made from old bike inner tubes. Changed my whole view on materials.
Honestly, that sounds nice but I've seen the other side of it. Last week some guy was screaming at a bus stop about aliens for twenty minutes and everyone just ignored him like it was normal. That's not being yourself, that's needing help and the city just letting it happen. Sometimes "letting people be" feels like not caring at all. Sorry @kelly.charlie, but Portland being built different can mean looking the other way when you shouldn't.

inVent: Had to pick between a new door or fixing the old one for my back porch
My uncle told me to rebuild the frame on my shed door last summer. I spent three days on it and it still sags. I should have just bought the new door unit from the start. The time and extra tools add up, and you never get it as square as a factory one. Now I have a door that works okay but not great, and I'm still annoyed about it.

inJust realized my old boss was right about using a heat gun on those Dell laptop hinges
Totally get that, but hear me out. It's not just about the clips, it's about not breaking the whole panel they're stuck to. Yanking cold plastic is how you get expensive cracks. A quick blast of heat lets the clip give way cleanly. Saves a ton of headache and replacement costs later. Feels like extra work upfront but it's the difference between a five minute job and a three hour nightmare.

inJust got my team to agree on a new data privacy rule after a month of arguing
Glad you stuck with the basic option, that's the move every time. I mean, you can always add more data later if you really need it, but you can't really take it back once people get creeped out. We had to explain to our product team that a slightly worse suggestion feature was worth not tracking every single click. It feels like extra work now, but it saves so many headaches and bad reviews down the line.
