inFrench fry smell from a diesel engine isn't always a good sign
That "mobile fryer" situation is exactly the problem. That smell means the oil is breaking down and leaving a gummy, sticky residue everywhere it touches. It coats the inside of the fuel lines and the injector nozzles, and when it gets hot in the engine, it basically turns into varnish. You might get away with it for a little while, but then the engine starts running rough because the fuel spray pattern gets all messed up. It's a total pain to clean out.

inHot take: Chasing green badges in drafting makes designs worse, not better.
But does a badge color honestly matter that much in real work lol. Most clients just need clear drawings, not some perfect scorecard. I've seen clean drafts with zero green badges and messy ones covered in them, so maybe we're overthinking this.

inI quit trying to learn Spanish, but a tiny daily habit flipped that around
No way you said giving up was just being scared, that's wild lol. Most people blame busy schedules or bad memory, but admitting it's fear hits different. Your friend's commute trick is smart though, makes it less scary when it's just background noise at first. Honestly I might try that with Italian, because big classes make me panic too. The part about simple jokes sticking makes sense, it's not just grammar rules floating in your head.

inWarning: My paper password log turned into a liability overnight
Oh man, I felt that panic in my bones. I did the exact same thing with a sticky note sheet a few years back and tore my apartment apart looking for it. The control of having it on paper feels solid until that moment you can't find it. I still use a mix now, really simple passwords on paper for low risk stuff and the app for everything important.

inCan we talk about family collabs in digital art showcases?
My cousin and I do something similar with his weird photo edits. Those rough collabs actually got me my last freelance job because they showed how my process works. The messy stuff proves you can think outside the box, so keep at least one in there.
