inSpent two entire weekends just trying to get my paver base level.
My uncle used a water level when he was building a deck on a hill. He said the trick is to fill the hose completely, connect both ends, and then bring them together to check for bubbles before you even start. Once it's bubble free, you can mark level points all over the slope by yourself, just moving one stake at a time. It's slow but he said it was dead accurate over like a hundred feet, which his little laser couldn't even do.

inSerious question, does anyone else think we over-rely on the tool offset page for everything?
Saw a tech blog saying the same thing. Tools are only as good as the person using them. Basic checks always come first.

inI read that most home bakers mess up their first macaron attempt
So you found weighing the whites was the key too? @miller.rowan I'm convinced that's the real fix, more than the rest time.

inPSA: A pilot's comment about my torque wrench technique actually made sense
Ever have a pilot point out something so basic you almost brushed it off? I got similar advice about my grip pressure from a first officer, and like @jessica130 said, focusing on a smooth motion was the real fix. It felt awkward but made the tool way more reliable.

inChanged my mind about the 'best' way to watch anime
Totally, I'll put on a fast-paced playlist for cleaning. What kind of music do you use? I find that upbeat electronic stuff makes folding laundry way less boring.
