Oh man, that's actually a really good point. I notice that in regular life too, like when I try to force myself to remember something it just makes me more stressed and I end up forgetting more. But if I just let it slide, usually it comes back to me later or I just move on.

Oh man, that's exactly what happened with my peace lily that did nothing for two years and then just exploded with blooms!

...and there I was thinking I was being smart dropping 60 bucks on the REI one for my tent. First night out at Yosemite, I wake up to find the thing had basically turned into confetti under my tent. Gravel and sharp rocks just ate it alive. Now I just cut up an old blue tarp from Harbor Freight, cost me like 8 bucks, and it's been through three trips with nothing but some dirt stains. Wish I'd learned that lesson before my wallet did.

Thought I had it right but nope, I had it on backwards and ended up twisting the bolt the wrong way. Idk if it was the heat or just being tired but I must have stared at that thing for five minutes before it clicked. Maybe it's just me but I swear those things come with reverse instructions written in invisible ink. I mean, you think you're being all tough using a cheater bar and then physics just laughs at you.
