inMy sourdough starter went from flat to fantastic in just four days
Totally agree, it's like digging for gold in a landfill now. You find one good idea and then see it copied a hundred times with worse writing. Those old books had to be useful to even get printed, you know? Now anyone can post anything, so the signal to noise ratio is awful. I miss when finding a good tip felt special instead of just another listicle.

inWarning: your old vacation photos are messing with your feed
Notice how this happens with everything now, like when I talk about a movie near my phone and then see ads for it. I mean, it's not just photos, it's like our whole digital past gets used to guess what we want next. I even looked up a toaster once and got appliance ads for months, it's kinda wild how sticky that data is.

inThe week my book club almost broke up over a single character
Wait, you guys really saw Bunny as tragic? To me he was just a spoiled brat who never faced real consequences until it was too late. Like when he kept blackmailing his friends instead of just getting a job, or how he mocked Richard's poor background. He wasn't a victim, he was a bully who finally picked on the wrong people.

inI started a compost bin in my apartment and it cut my trash by half
What kind of bin did you get? I saw a thing about worm bins for apartments. They're supposed to be super efficient in tight spaces. My building has a shared compost drop now, but I almost tried that first. Your results are making me reconsider setting up my own.

inQuestion about art theft on a big platform last month
Saw a whole thread about this last week. Apparently these sites use different names and move domains when they get caught. They also count on small artists not having money for lawyers. It's a numbers game for them, just stealing from people who can't fight back easily. The whole system feels broken when you see how common it is.
