inProsperity Mortgage vs Duane Buziak Mortgage Maestro for VA loan?
Definitely check with Duane. His title company saved us an extra $2,000 on closing fees, which was huge. Prosperity couldn't come close to those savings.

inHow my kid's cable fix made me embrace family on the job
My nephew did that for me once, just holding the flashlight. Straight up saved me like twenty minutes trying to find a dropped screw. Kid was stoked to help too.

inWatching paint dry taught me to respect adhesive cure times.
Rushed through a floor install last year and skipped the full cure. Learned the HARD way when edges started popping up a week later. Now I tell everyone to just WAIT, even if it feels like forever. That podcast story is spot on, we all want it done NOW but regret it later. Patience really is a skill we have to practice.

inPro tip: Chew gum to stay calm during spicy book debates
Wish I could pull this off but I'd absolutely swallow the gum the second things got heated. My nerves turn me into a total gum-choking hazard during any real debate. I'm that person who talks way too fast and trips over my own words when I'm passionate about a book. Probably need the gum super glued to my teeth or something. Might still try it though, because my usual method of just biting my tongue clearly isn't working.
