Picked up a load of old frames to start a collage wall

Grabbed a mix of picture frames from the Salvation Army for under ten dollars total. I'm sanding and painting them all one color to make a big art display in my living room. Any tips for hanging a bunch of frames so they look good together?

Thrift stores reveal how consumer goods have degraded over time. This jacket from the 70s has outlasted three of my new coats. It's a blunt lesson in built-to-last vs. built-to-break.
