inHonestly, the best air fryer fries I've ever had were at a food truck in Portland
Your "same result" thing is exactly why I rush through cooking and end up with worse food lol.

inBack in 2012, I dropped about $600 on a set of those 'professional' networking event tickets. Total waste.
Yeah paige331, that whole thing felt like shouting into a void. I spent three hours last week on a similar post for my local moms group, super detailed about my new home organizing service. Got a bunch of likes and "sounds amazing" comments, but my inbox was completely empty. It's just digital pats on the back that don't pay the bills. Makes you wonder why people even bother engaging if they have zero real interest.

inFound a way to actually finish a show without getting distracted halfway through
Wow, I always thought subtitles were just for foreign films. Hearing how it helps you focus totally changed my mind, that makes so much sense. I'm gonna try it next time I watch something.

inRemember when we had to manually check every single dimension on a set of prints?
Oh man, "layer scheme" is giving me flashbacks. I once spent a whole afternoon just trying to figure out why everything was on a layer called "0" but in six different colors. It was like a bad puzzle.

inAppreciation post: The old guy at the scrap yard in Toledo told me to always pre-heat my crucible with a slow flame for 15 minutes, not a hot one.
Man, that story from @lindag33 is a real wake-up call. I mean, it's so easy to get impatient and skip steps, right? I've seen a buddy rush heating a thick piece of glass in his kiln and it just popped like a gunshot. Same idea, different material. That sudden crack sound really does stick with you. Makes you respect the process way more after.
