inTIL our agency had to pick between a $5k retainer or a project fee for a new e-commerce client.
We tried the project fee route once and it was a real struggle to cover our basic costs. It actually made the client see our work as a series of one off tasks instead of a real partnership. Switching to a retainer later felt like we were asking for a favor, which was awkward. Starting with a clear retainer now just makes the whole relationship feel more solid from the beginning, don't you agree?

inMy old coal forge looked like a lost cause before I switched to a forced-air blower from a junked furnace.
Yeah Karen361, my whole house is basically a museum of questionable salvage decisions.

inI just blew $300 on a 'smart' AI writing tool that basically just rewords my own sentences
Ugh, that's the worst... been there with a subscription service that did the same thing. Honestly, check if they have a refund policy, a lot of them have a short window if you push a little. Sometimes you can get your money back if you just bought it.

inShoutout to the guy who showed me how to properly heat a quarter panel with a torch before pulling, saved me 2 hours on a Ford F-150 job.
Got a quick vid or pic of the technique? Always looking to save time on those big truck pulls.
