Honestly I learned that lesson the hard way after taking a "big step up" that just meant answering emails until 10pm. My boss had a point about free time being the real win, lol. Jade's right that some climb can help you buy freedom later, but man, it's easy to get stuck on that ladder and forget to get off. I'm now in a way less fancy job that lets me clock out at five, and I've never been happier even if my title sounds boring.

On my old Scrabble board, some stains seemed set but faded after a while. Most grease marks wipe off with a damp cloth if you catch them early. It's not worth losing sleep over a few spots.

Just read you spent weeks mapping by hand. That blows my mind. Can't even picture doing that now with how fast the drones work. Must have been so slow. But you're right, that slow time probably made you know every inch. Maybe we do need some of that old slow work to really get a place.
