The block party on my street shifted my take on being alone...
I always skipped these events... Going this year showed me how much we need each other.

Started talking to my neighbor about her garden last month. Now I borrow her clippers sometimes and we actually know each other's names.

It's wild how just one small talk thing can totally change a vibe. I mean, you go from awkward nods to actually having a person you can ask for help. Makes the whole street feel less lonely, idk.
