I finally chose a bold print over a classic solid for my spring collection

For my new line, I had to pick between a safe navy linen and a bright floral cotton. Everyone in my design group said the solid would sell better. I went with the floral anyway and made 50 pieces. They sold out in under two weeks at the local market. The feedback was all about how people wanted something happy and different. Has anyone else gone against the grain with a print and been surprised by the result?

Sold out in under two weeks? That's wild. People really do want fun stuff right now. What kind of floral was it?

Yeah, milam48 nailed it, just a small bright spot.

I mean, it's just a shirt, evan_green52. Not like they found a cure for boredom.

Actually, selling out that fast says a lot... it's more than just a shirt. It's a small, bright thing people can grab onto when everything else feels heavy. That specific kind of win matters right now.
