inWent to that new library in Springfield and the brickwork on the exterior corners is all wrong.
My last DIY mortar job looked like a toddler mixed it with a spoon. I'm the reason they tell you to hire a pro.

Big case? Doubt your clients are checking Google that much.

inMy resume got auto-rejected by a system last month
Ugh, that's so sneaky. Makes you wonder how many good people get filtered out for tiny reasons like that. What other hidden traps do those systems have?

inA guy at the print shop told me my grain direction was off and I felt so silly
Ugh, tell me about it! I just did that yesterday with a simple cooking step I've done a hundred times. The lesson definitely sticks better after that kind of mistake.

inHeard a young guy at the supply yard call a pruning saw a 'tree knife'
Honestly, calling it a tree knife is kind of hilarious, like something a kid would make up. But it does show a real gap in basic know-how. I get that videos are fast, but they skip the why behind the what. If you don't learn the right name, you probably never learned what it actually does or when to use it. That hands-on teaching sticks with you way longer than any two-minute clip. Letting that stuff fade just means more people who own tools but have no idea how to work with them.
