Postcards? That's a weird thing to say. They're your photos from your trip, right? A postcard is just a picture someone else took. Your friend is mixing up a style with who took it. My aunt's vacation shots look nothing like a real postcard, trust me.

Actually postcards are photos taken by pros. They pick the best light, best angle, all that. Your own vacation pics are just your memories. Both are fine but they're different things. Saying a personal photo looks like a postcard is a compliment on the style, not who took it.
