PSA: Detailed logbook entries are non-negotiable in my book

Many mechanics at my shop think brief logbook entries are enough. I always write detailed notes because it once stopped a big issue. A pilot said the engine had a rough idle, but a short note from another shift caused hours of extra checks. I tell my crew that clear notes save time and keep planes safe.

Shoutout to my neighbor for trusting me with his vintage radio repair.

Watching a neighbor's smile when an old radio plays again is really nice... It's not just the music, but the times they remember. Like when the dial turns and the crackle stops, it's like waking up the past. Him trusting you shows he sees your help as real. Keeping these old things going saves pieces of life, you know... more than just fixing wires.
