Spent $5k on a fancy AI content tool and it almost tanked a client's site

We bought a yearly subscription to ContentBot Pro for a local restaurant chain in Austin. The stuff it wrote was so generic and full of weird, repeated phrases that their organic traffic dropped 40% in three months. I had to spend weeks manually rewriting it all to sound like a real person. Has anyone else had to do a full content rescue mission after trusting an AI tool too much?

How much did you pay for that tool again?

Wait, you got it for free? That's wild, because I paid full price last month. They must have changed the deal or something.

Yeah, "they must have changed the deal" is so true. My buddy Jake got the same thing for free last week just by using a promo code from a newsletter. He said it was some kind of weekend flash thing they didn't really advertise.

Wait, did Jake get it for free or just a big discount? Because sometimes those newsletter codes are like 80% off but not totally free. I remember seeing that flash deal and it was still like five bucks.
