inMy cousin told me to just 'jump in and build something' when I asked where to start with coding.
Oh, your cousin gave you the only good advice anyone ever gives about coding. Honestly, a to-do list app is the classic first project for a reason. You'll immediately run into how to store the tasks, mark them done, and probably delete them, which covers a ton of basic concepts. Just be ready for your first version to be a text-only mess where you can't actually delete anything.

inA client at my grooming shop in Madison told me she had to choose between paying her vet bill or her rent this month.
Man, the universe really needs to hand out a better script sometimes. Like maybe a side quest where you find a bag of cash instead of choosing between your dog's meds and your power bill. Ruby_jones had it right with that list though, my cat would sell my soul for a squeeze treat and that's basically his only hobby at this point. It's wild how they become these little furry anchors in your life, and the cost just becomes part of the deal, even when it means eating beans for a week.

inShowerthought: That one job in the old theater on 5th Street changed how I test sensors.
Honestly, I used to think a good visual check was enough. I mean, if the spot looked clear, it was fine. But after a sensor kept getting set off by sunlight warming up a dark painted wall across the room at a specific time of day, I had to change my whole process. Now I think about temperature shifts and light angles way more during setup. That old theater story just proves how sneaky those hidden triggers can be.

inI used to shape every shoe hot, now I do most of it cold
Cold work just seems like extra strain on the steel to me.

inTIL our agency's Facebook ad got flagged for a weird reason in Phoenix last Tuesday
Feel your pain, that's such a waste of time. @seth_singh20, the algorithm is definitely on one lately.
