Tried two accounting apps this month and QuickBooks still wins for small business
I compared FreshBooks and QuickBooks for my side gig over the last 30 days. FreshBooks looked cleaner but kept bugging out when I tried to split a single invoice across three clients. QuickBooks handled that same task in two clicks and exported the report without any hiccups. Plus, QuickBooks gave me a tax summary at the end of the month that saved me about 2 hours of manual sorting. Has anyone else run into weird glitches with FreshBooks on bigger invoice jobs?

Wait wait wait... splitting an invoice across THREE clients in FreshBooks kept bugging out? Thats... really bad. I do that kind of thing all the time with my freelance work and QuickBooks handled it perfectly the other day, no glitches at all. The tax summary thing sounds like a lifesaver too, I spent 3 hours last month manually sorting receipts for my taxes and it was miserable.

Oh yeah, the three clients thing is exactly the kind of stuff that makes you wanna throw your laptop out the window. I had a project last fall where I had to split hours between two clients on FreshBooks and it kept saying "invoice limit reached" or something stupid like that, even though I had plenty of room left. QuickBooks handled a three way split for me last month without a single hiccup, it just let me add the third client line and it worked fine. The tax summary is honestly the main reason I switched, I used to spend a whole weekend sorting receipts into folders like a maniac and now it just gives me a single file with everything categorized.

FreshBooks has always been buggy with multi-client stuff, try Wave instead it's free and way smoother.
