Pro tip: My buddy says to keep all security warnings on, but I cut back. Now I notice real threats faster. What's your method?

The ignoring car alarms bit is spot on. We're so used to false alarms that real threats just blend in. Maybe we should get warnings for the warnings.

I get what you mean about tuning things out, but I actually find the opposite. Having all the warnings on helps me learn what's normal so the real problems really stand out.
