A guy at a diner in Toledo changed my mind about the moon landing

He just asked me, 'If they faked it, why would the Soviets, who were listening to everything, have congratulated them?' That one question broke the whole thing for me. Anyone else have a simple point that just unraveled a theory for them?

Consider how many people would have had to keep that secret forever.

Yeah, the number of people needed to keep a secret forever is why I never bought that story.

Oh man, that's a good one. My uncle used to say the same thing about the Kennedy tapes, like how could that many people stay quiet?

Wait, is it really true the number of people would need to stay quiet forever? @betty_kelly9 I mean, the Soviets had their own listening stations and satellites tracking the Apollo missions, not just relying on what NASA told them.
