Just hit 100 yards of concrete poured in a single week for the first time

We were on this big warehouse slab job in Toledo, and the pump truck just kept going. I looked at the ticket stack on Friday and it added up to exactly 100 yards. Never thought our three-man crew could push that much mud and still get a decent finish. It made me realize how much a solid pour schedule and good prep can boost your output. Anyone else hit a personal yardage record that caught them off guard?

Wait, three guys did all that? That's insane. You must have been moving nonstop. Serious respect for that grind.

Honestly that just sounds like a recipe for burnout to me.

Used to think pushing that hard was just asking for trouble. Then we landed a tight-deadline foundation job that forced us to plan every step down to the minute. Seeing that yardage stack up at the end of the week changed my mind. It wasn't about running ourselves into the ground. It was about having everything ready so the actual pour was just smooth, fast work. That kind of output feels good when you know you set it up right.
