inI paid $150 for a year of a budgeting app and it actually helped me save $2,000, but my friend says it's a waste of money.
Your friend's math is a little off.

inFound a way to cut a day off the Timberline Trail loop
Nice find! That Muddy Fork area is a solid spot, and honestly, @iris927 has a point about needing to actually draw a line on the map. But sometimes staring at it shows you those off-loop gems the main plan misses. You just have to be sure about the river crossing the next morning, that can be a real pain if the water's high.

inMy friend's 'quick' game night turned into a 4 hour rule argument
Ugh, but is it really that deep? I mean, @marywilson's "surprise homebrew" thing sounds bad, but maybe your friend just got carried away. It's just one game night, so maybe let it go.

Totally get where you're coming from! My power bill didn't really budge either after the last time I had mine done. It's frustrating when companies push those numbers so hard. The safety part is the only thing that ever made real sense to me too. Feels like they're trying to sell you on the wrong thing sometimes.
