inMy favorite game token tray cracked during a session last night
Good call on Titebond. That stuff is serious. But honestly even that might not hold if the wood is too soft. I bet some of those Etsy tray guys use pine or something similar just because it's cheap and easy to carve. Not great for daily abuse from board game tokens. @wood.faith had the right idea with clamping. But I'd go further. Use a bar clamp, not a spring clamp. Way more pressure. Lay a piece of wax paper between the clamp and the wood too. Keeps the glue from sticking to the clamp. Also worth checking if the crack is clean or if there's splintering. If it's splintered, you might need to fill those gaps with wood filler before gluing. Otherwise the joint will just break again.

inMy client's hair extension clip snapped mid-blowout
That "well, that's a first" line is pretty much how everything goes wrong in my life too. Seems like things always break right when you're in the middle of something and can't stop.

inFound a $20 bill in the office vending machine coin return slot yesterday
So you really think someone just walked away from a $20 bill without checking if the machine took it? How long would you leave cash sitting in a vending machine before figuring it wasn't coming back?

inPSA: I used to think therapy was just for 'serious' problems until a rough Tuesday in March.
Gotta disagree with the whole 'stuck not broken' thing. Feeling stuck and feeling broken are just two different flavors of the same problem if you ask me. I've been both and the fix was the same - I needed to actually change something in my life, not just talk about how I felt. Therapy helped me see that I was wasting time analyzing my feelings instead of just making a move.

Changed my whole approach after hearing that same advice.
