Back in 2012, I dropped about $600 on a set of those 'professional' networking event tickets. Total waste.

Read an article last week about engagement metrics being totally fake. Said most likes and comments come from bots or people just scrolling. They called it "empty validation." Your moms group post is a perfect example. People want to feel helpful without actually doing anything. Makes the whole online thing feel pointless sometimes.

Yeah paige331, that whole thing felt like shouting into a void. I spent three hours last week on a similar post for my local moms group, super detailed about my new home organizing service. Got a bunch of likes and "sounds amazing" comments, but my inbox was completely empty. It's just digital pats on the back that don't pay the bills. Makes you wonder why people even bother engaging if they have zero real interest.
