My bullet journal layout from 3 months ago looks like a mess now

I flipped back to January and my habit tracker was so inconsistent - I'd skip days and cram in 4 entries at once. What happened? I started using a simple weekly spread with just 3 key tasks per day instead of 10 goals, and now I actually stick with it. Anyone else's old pages make them cringe?

Yeah it's wild how we always start with these big ambitious systems but real life doesn't work that way. I see it everywhere people trying to overhaul their whole routine at once then burning out when they miss a day. Scaling way back to something boring but doable is honestly the secret to actually keeping up with anything long term.

Is it really that deep though? A habit tracker from three months ago isn't going to be perfect, life happens and you adjust. Seems like you figured out what works for you now, so maybe cut yourself some slack.

Three months of habit tracking and you only missed one day? That's like getting a perfect attendance award and apologizing for the one time you were five minutes late. I'd need about seventeen bullet journals and a small shrine to consistency just to attempt that. You're doing fine.
