Always believed plants were just decor, not living things with nerves. Hearing about your orchid fainting shows they might have feelings too! Now I talk to my ferns more gently, just in case.

Plants don't have nervous systems though, right? It was probably just thirsty or the room was too warm.

Plants can be dramatic without having feelings, like my peace lily that droops if I'm five minutes late watering it.
