My cousin in Chicago said we're all just watching comfort food shows now

He pointed out that after a long day, he'd rather rewatch 'Parks and Rec' for the fifth time than start something new and heavy. Has anyone else found themselves doing this lately?

My buddy's wife tried to get him to watch some new crime drama, but he just put on Bob's Burgers again. Said his brain felt like it was on vacation.

Oh man, my Netflix history is just a loop of The Office and Great British Bake Off. My brain is too tired for new plots, it just wants to put on its softest sweatpants and watch people make cake or Michael Scott make a fool of himself. Starting a new show feels like homework now. I guess my comfort food is watching Jim look at the camera.
