Vent: Paid $200 for a 'professional' organizing service and it was a waste
I hired a company called Neat Spaces in Denver to organize my home office. They charged me $200 and basically just put my stuff in pretty bins without actually helping me sort anything. Now I can't find my important papers and they won't answer my calls. Has anyone else tried a service like this and ended up more frustrated than before?

I mean, did they even ask you what you needed to keep accessible or what paperwork was important? It sounds like they just did a pretty surface level thing with the bins instead of actually helping you figure out a system. I'd be so mad if I paid $200 and now can't find my tax documents or whatever.

But honestly @rowan969, sometimes paying someone to just shove stuff in bins is exactly what you're asking for if you're overwhelmed and don't care about the system.

Right? @phoenix246 nailed it. Sometimes you just need the bins, even if it's not the "right" way lol.
