Guess I should've soaked my last batch.

My buddy swore by soaking and his fries turned out shockingly good, honestly.

Read that tip in a food blog once.

Remember my uncle soaking his fries in vinegar water once. They came out weirdly crisp but tasted like a salt and vinegar chip gone wrong.
