Update: My family dinner turned into a coffee roast critique session.

I brought a bag of my favorite local beans to share, and my uncle spent the whole meal comparing it to his fancy home roast. Now I'm never bringing coffee to a family event again.

Just realized staging homes to look empty is a total waste of money

I see agents spending lots on staging to make homes look empty, but it just feels cold. Buyers need to picture their own stuff, not see a blank box. A home with some life in it always shows better in my view.

Switched from arguing to asking in conspiracy talks

I used to come in hot trying to debunk every wild claim. It never changed any minds and just pissed people off. So I stopped and made a rule to ask questions first. When someone mentioned chemtrails, I asked where they heard it instead of listing facts. This led to them sharing links and me pointing out flaws calmly. Now conversations feel less like fights and more like exchanges. I get less worked up and actually learn something sometimes.
