inStruggling with messy camping gear storage, thinking of a DIY solution
Actually, from my own camping trips, I found canvas tents to be a real bear to haul around. We had one for years, and setting it up was always a two-person job because of the weight. When we finally tried a nylon model, it was like night and day, way lighter for the same space. In my experience, if you're backpacking or moving sites often, nylon is the way to go. But if you're base camping and don't mind the heft, canvas can last forever. Your mileage may vary, of course, depending on your specific gear.

inVent: I used to hate flat color art in showcases
Wait, but starting without color forced me to actually understand light and shape first. When I finally added color later, my pictures got way better because the foundation was solid. It's like learning to walk before you run with a whole paint set.

inA bedtime story about robots led to the best sci-fi theory I've had.
My coffee maker already gives me judgmental beeps when I overfill it, so maybe the projection has begun. My own glitchy programming tends to interpret that as shame. Perhaps we're all just complex machines running on faulty emotional software.

inConvinced myself that a no-spend day was impossible, but I was wrong
Oh man, this hits close to home. I got one of those banking apps that shows your spending and I was honestly shook by how much I drop on dumb little things, like coffee and snacks, without even noticing. Idk why but seeing it all added up in a chart just made it feel so real. Maybe it's just me but I started putting a twenty in an envelope every time I skipped buying stuff I didn't need. It's not some huge plan but it adds up and now I kinda want to try a full no-spend day too.
