Applied for a project manager job in Austin. The portal asked for a PDF. I sent mine. Got an instant 'not a fit' email. Checked the file. My contact info was in a header the bot couldn't read. Fixed it, saved as a plain text PDF. Got a call back the next week. Anyone else get tripped up by resume formatting like that?
