inRemember when yoga flows felt like a checklist?
My old boss wanted five reports done by noon every day. I started just doing three small things first, like print stuff, water the plant, clear my inbox. Felt way less like drowning.

inA heatwave wiped out my tomato plants, and I'm livid
My uncle upstate had to stop growing kale because the summers got too harsh for it. He always said kale was bulletproof, but the last few seasons just burned it to the ground before it could fully grow. It’s wild to see what we called “easy” plants start to fail. Makes you wonder what’s next on the list that won’t make it, right?

inDAE get a weird click in their wrist from driving screws all day?
Hold on, is every little ache really a warning sign though? Sometimes my knee clicks or my shoulder feels stiff and it just goes away on its own if I ignore it. I get the idea of listening to your body, but it feels like we're told to treat every tiny signal as some huge red flag. Maybe our bodies are just noisy and most of the time it doesn't mean anything's wrong. I worry that always pausing for every little thing isn't practical, and might even make people fixate on normal aches. There's probably a middle ground instead of thinking every click is a disaster waiting to happen.

inCaught my dog trying to bury a piece of obsidian in the backyard
That instinct to bury stuff comes from wild dogs hiding food for later. Hard things like rocks might feel similar to bones or other treasures they want to keep safe. Storing your collection away just works with their natural way of thinking.

Totally, I always calibrate my display first.
