I finally understood the importance of positive pressure in my case.

Honestly, I've been building PCs for a while but always had dust issues. Tbh, I never paid attention to which fans were intake or exhaust. Ngl, after watching a guide, I rearranged them and my temps dropped by 10 degrees. It's such a simple fix that made a huge difference.

Always brushed off positive pressure, but your results make me reconsider.

Oh man, same here! I always thought it was just hype until I tried it myself. Seeing actual numbers from my own setup made it impossible to ignore. The difference in airflow and temps was so clear. Felt pretty dumb for brushing it off all those years. Totally changed my view on case pressure now.

The real trick is keeping your intake filters clean, not just the pressure itself. Positive pressure pushes air out through every unfiltered gap, which just blows dust around inside. A dirty filter makes the whole thing pointless.

Yeah that 'brushed it off' feeling is so real, I was totally in that camp for ages. Just seemed like extra fuss for nothing. But then I did a super basic test with some incense smoke to see the airflow, and my whole dusty case situation made sense overnight. It's one of those things you gotta see for yourself to really get it.
