Spent $75 on a 'dumb phone' and it was the best waste of money ever

Last summer I got sick of scrolling Instagram for 3 hours a night so I bought a $75 dumb phone off eBay. No apps, no camera, just calls and texts. I figured I'd keep my smartphone for work and use the dumb phone for evenings and weekends. First week was brutal because I kept reaching for my pocket out of habit. But after about 10 days I started reading actual books again and even called my mom for a real conversation. The dumb phone is now my main phone and I only check my smartphone once a day for emails. Has anyone else tried switching to a basic phone for a month or so?
