Can we talk about that 'premium' car wax that promised a year of shine?
I dropped $40 on a bottle last spring, and my car looked dusty again after two good rains. What's a product you bought that totally failed to live up to the hype?

Right? I had the same thing happen with a "waterproof" spray for my boots... @the_mary is totally right about staying on top of it.

After two good rains" and it was already dusty? For a product that promised a whole year? That's just embarrassing for them.

Yeah that's why I never trust those "lasts a year" claims on outdoor stuff. The sun and weather just beat everything down way faster. I learned to always do two thin coats instead of one thick one, and reapply before it looks bad. Once it starts dusting off like that, the protection is already gone. Total waste of money if you don't stay on top of it.
