She mentioned how many new people are moving here for the tech jobs, but none of them seem to know about the old Everett shipyards, which made me wonder what else gets lost when a place changes that fast.

Wait, they don't know about the shipyards? That's the whole history of the place.

Seriously? How can you talk about Everett and skip the shipyards? That place was built by that industry. My granddad worked there for forty years. It feels like people just see the new coffee shops and forget what made the town.
