My city installed a bunch of those 'smart' cameras at intersections last month, and now I'm getting tickets for rolling stops at 3am when no one is around.

Saw a news segment about those cameras. They said the fines are mostly about revenue, not safety. Pretty frustrating system.

Yeah that news segment is on point. I read a local report last year where the city admitted over 60% of their camera ticket money goes straight into the general fund, not even back into traffic stuff. Makes you wonder.
