Finally got a handle on those stubborn chin breakouts after a client's third visit

I have a regular who came in with deep, painful bumps along her jawline that just would not clear. We tried extractions and a salicylic acid peel, but they kept coming back. Last month, I suggested she switch her phone to speaker mode during long calls and wipe it down with an alcohol pad each morning. She just came in today, and her skin is almost completely clear. It took about six weeks to see the full change. Has anyone else found that phone hygiene made a big difference for a client with similar issues?

Oh man, phone hygiene is huge. I had a client with the same thing, angry red spots right where she held her phone. We cleaned up her routine but missed that. Told her to use headphone for calls. Game changer. The gunk and bacteria buildup is real. It's such a simple fix but people never think about it.

Wipe mine down with a little rubbing alcohol every few days. It's crazy how much stuff comes off on the cloth. Makes you wonder what else we touch all the time that's just as bad, like door handles or keyboards. What's the grossest thing you've cleaned off your phone?

So we're all just walking around with a petri dish in our pocket? I guess it makes sense, you're basically pressing bacteria right into your skin for an hour. Maybe we should all just go back to landlines.
