Pro tip: I found my old sketchbook from 2012 in a box last month and it was full of comic book panels I never finished.
Looking at those half-drawn heroes made me realize I gave up on that dream because I got scared I wasn't good enough, which is something I think a lot of people here might understand, right?

Time capsule for sure. Found my old guitar tabs from around then. Just pages of half finished pop punk songs. All the chords were wrong. Sounds like a different person tried to write them.

Honestly, a 2012 sketchbook is a time capsule. I bet the style is totally different now. Sometimes you just grow out of a hobby, not because you're scared, but because your interests change. It doesn't always have to be a deep thing about giving up on a dream.
