For years my dream self thought you could only turn left by spinning three times first.

It felt completely normal until I tried it while awake in my kitchen and nearly fell over. The rule started after I watched a weird cartoon as a kid. Does anyone else have a physical action that's mandatory in their dreams?

Honestly, that's just how brains work. We all follow weird little rules without questioning them until we crash into the fridge.

Wait, you actually tried it in your kitchen? That's amazing you went for it. I can just picture someone spinning around by the fridge and almost wiping out. It's wild how dream logic feels so real until you test it. Mine is that I have to hop over every third sidewalk crack or something bad happens. What's the weirdest part of your spinning rule to you now?

That's a great point from victorh81 about dream logic feeling real. Read somewhere that these rules are like your brain's weird shortcuts.

What gets me is how these rules feel so urgent in the moment, like a real physical law. But the second you stop and question it, the whole structure just falls apart. It's like your brain is running two separate operating systems at once.
