My old T-square from trade school finally gave out on me last Thursday
I mean, the thing was a 24-inch Alvin that I got back in 2008, and the clear edge just cracked right down the middle while I was lining up a section plan. Had to run to the local supply house in Everett for a quick replacement, but it felt weird throwing it out. Anyone else have a go-to tool they've used for way too long?

Oh man, that's a real bummer. But just to be clear, a T-square from 2008 isn't really that old for a solid tool. I've got a triangle from my granddad that's still perfect. Maybe the plastic just gets brittle after a while? What did you end up getting to replace it?

Maybe @kelly385, but 2008 feels pretty old for plastic tools to me.
