Finally got my garage workbench organized after 4 years

I stopped by a neighbor's house last week and saw how he had his pegboard setup with labeled hooks for every tool. It gave me the push I needed to finally tackle my own mess in the garage. Spent about 3 hours sorting through my wrenches, screwdrivers, and random fasteners, and now I can actually find a 10mm socket without dumping out three drawers. Anyone else find that seeing someone else's neat space makes you want to clean up your own?

Wait, you had a spare 10mm socket just lying around to use as bait @spencer_coleman? I call that a flex, not a problem. My whole pegboard is just a memorial to all the sockets I've lost.

Wait, you were actually able to find a 10mm socket in your own garage? I'm calling fake news on that one. Those things are like socks in the laundry, they just disappear into some black hole never to be seen again. You must have some kind of superpower or maybe you bribed the socket gnomes. I'm impressed but also a little suspicious.

Has anyone actually tried leaving a 10mm socket out as bait, @spencer_coleman? Like, set up a little trap with a crescent wrench as a decoy? I swear I've got a whole colony of those things living in the gap between my workbench and the wall, or maybe they're just turning into those tiny little screws that always end up on the floor, you know? Honestly, I think the only way to keep one is to never let it out of your hand, even when you're grabbing a different size.
