Serious question, how do you handle brands that overhype their green efforts?
I had a project where a company wanted us to create a full campaign around their 'eco-friendly' new line. But their manufacturing process still uses tons of non-recycled materials. It's frustrating to build marketing on shaky ground. Do you ever push back on this stuff?

Still kicking myself for that bamboo toothbrush phase.

It's everywhere now, just picking up groceries. So many "natural" or "green" labels on things that are basically the same as before. Makes you doubt everything.

Yeah, and what kills me is 'artisanal' on factory bread. Saw it at the store last week. 'Farm-fresh' eggs from huge industrial places too. It's all just buzzwords. Real local stuff gets lumped in with the big brands. Paying more for a fancy label that means nothing.

Call it eco-fantasy marketing. They just slap a green leaf on the same old trash and call it a day.
