Tried QuickBooks for 6 months then switched to FreshBooks for my shop... night and day difference

I run a small auto repair shop over on Gratiot near 8 Mile. Been using QuickBooks since my buddy recommended it back in January. Honestly it felt like I was fighting the software every time I tried to send an invoice or track parts. Then my accountant said give FreshBooks a try. After 3 weeks I'm already done with bookkeeping in half the time. Anyone else find a software switch that actually saved you hours every week?

My mechanic buddy told me the same thing about FreshBooks but I stuck with QuickBooks for my detailing side gig since I was already used to it. One time I accidentally sent a client an invoice with the wrong labor rate and it took me like 45 minutes to figure out how to edit it. My girlfriend laughed at me cause I was practically crying at the kitchen table over a spreadsheet.

My buddy Mike spent a whole Saturday rebuilding a client estimate in FreshBooks after he fat-fingered the labor rate and didn't notice until the car was already done, @avery_flores17. He said he almost threw his laptop out the window.

@avery_flores17 QuickBooks is clunky but at least everyone knows how it works, that counts for something.
