That 3 month period where I stopped drinking changed how I handle work stress

I quit alcohol for 90 days last spring after a bad breakup, and the biggest difference wasn't health or sleep-it was how calmly I handled a project manager yelling at me on a Tuesday morning. Anyone else find that dropping one habit shifted their whole reaction to stuff?

Wait wait wait, you're telling me that quitting drinking actually made you CALM when someone yelled at you?? That's wild lol. I always figured booze was helping me blow off steam but honestly it probably just made me more reactive the next day. Like I'd have a couple beers after a rough day at school then get salty about literally everything the next morning.

Hold up, you're saying a project manager screamed at you and you just... didn't react? That's insane to me. I quit drinking for a month last year and one of my coworkers made a dumb joke and I almost lost it on him. Like zero chill improvement on my end.
